We have the Bay color and OMSID crossover locked down. Physical construction specifications have not yet been verified in the recovered source data, so the site deliberately leaves those fields unpublished rather than guessing.

The CalWood Difference

Materials chosen to elevate the room.

European oak. Thoughtful finishes. Made for the way we live today.

CalWood sources quality European oak from across Europe, selecting timber for its natural character, grain and beauty. We transform that material into engineered flooring that combines traditional European craftsmanship with colors designed for today's interiors—from warm, natural classics to clean, contemporary tones.

The finish is as important as the wood beneath it. We use European-spec finishing systems selected to protect the surface while preserving the look and feel of real oak. Matte and low-sheen finishes allow the grain, texture and natural variation of the wood to remain the focus while providing the durability expected of a floor made to be lived on.

The result is a floor designed not simply to cover a room, but to become part of its architecture.

Proof Points

What makes a better floor.

Beautiful flooring starts with more than color. Construction, finish, proportion and the details that complete the installation all matter.

01

Construction

Two approaches to engineered stability. Signature and Supreme use a solid-core construction, while Bay uses a multi-layer plywood core. Both are engineered for dimensional stability, using different construction methods to achieve it.

02

Wear Layer

Substantial European Oak wear layers extend the useful life of the floor. Our 3.5–4 mm veneers can typically accommodate approximately two professional sandings, while our 6 mm wear layer can allow three to four or more, depending on the sanding method and condition of the floor.

03

Finish & Color

Low-sheen, European-spec finishes preserve the natural character of the wood, paired with carefully developed colors designed around real interiors rather than short-lived trends.

04

The Details

Coordinating stair nosings, treads, vents, transitions and specialty trim can be fabricated from the flooring itself, carrying the same wood, color and finish through the installation.
